Manneken Pis<\/b><\/h2>\n

Manneken Pis belongs to Brussels like beer, fries and waffles. Although it’s not the original Manneken Pis anymore who pees (the original you can find in Maison du Roi) it\u2019s definitely a must see when in Brussels. Alone because of the changing costumes! Not as known but definitely also worth a visit: his sister Jeanneke Pis, who’s peeing since 1980 in a small street close to Rue des Bouchers. And not to forget: Zinneke Pis, their dog, which you can find at the corner of Rue des Chartreaux and Rue des Vieux-Marche.<\/p>\n

Street Art<\/b><\/h2>\n

Brussels has a thriving art scene, but it\u2019s not only found in galleries and museums. There\u2019s actually tons of art to discover in the city itself, often hidden in interesting and unexpected places. When walking along the streets of Brussels you’ll for sure stumble upon many great pieces of street sart. Like the well-known painting of Tintin but also some street art from ROA. When it comes to street art Brussels is as much a metropolis as New York or Berlin.<\/p>\n

Grand Place\/Grote Markt<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Grand Place\/Grote Markt is one of Brussels landmarks and since 1998 it’s also a UNESCO world heritage site. With its gothic and baroque buildings it’s also one of the most beautiful places in Europe. You’ll find many caf\u00e9s around and every evening the buildings get illuminated. During the week there’s the flower market and on Sundays you can find the bird market here. In a small side street here you can also visit the Musee du cacao et du chocolat, which is not only worth a visit because of the chocolate Manneken Pis but also because you’ll see live how Belgian chocolate is made.<\/p>\n
